{Gracias}

Doesn't the holiday season always seem to bring about introspection? Usually the result of this self examination is a feeling of gratitude and thankfulness as we celebrate the spirit of the season that is common to us all. In a world where sameness brings about a level of comfort and familiarity, a sense of safety and 'belonged-ness' , commonality and likeness--we give thanks. However, by the same token we are thankful for the areas of of our lives that make us stand out as individuals, separate and different. Homogeniety in some things are fine...let's say in ...dairy products. However, easy friendships, delicious wine and hard-to-put-down novels are Great when there is a variety! So to that I say...'let's hear for diversity'!!
