Shadow Shot Sunday

# 90
This beautiful sunburst Twirly Gig's home is usually on my front lawn.  I brought it into the house due to the twenty-six inches of snow that fell overnight {...well, let's just say that I didn't want it to be buried until July...}.

Despite the 'Snowmagedon' that blew through this neck of the woods over the last twenty four hours, the Sun decided to tease us, just a little.  I caught this shadow after propping the Twirly Gig against the wall and WOW!

Can I tell you how amazed I am with the results.  Take a look.  What do you think?

This is usually 'HOME' for this beauty... weather permitting.

Just one more look...it is amazing!   Want more shadows?  This is where you can find more fabulous shadows.

Those are great shots of your Twirly Gig. I'm in awe of the size of your house. It's huge! Mine would like like a little doll house sitting next to yours :)

Not sure what a twirly gig is for, but it makes great shadows!

LOVE IT!!!...and you certainly had fun entertaining it around the house. Wonder what shadows it would've cast in all the snows that dumped on you guys???

When I bought this amazing sun/wind catcher, I was in awe of its movement when the wind gusts and the way that the Sun's rays bounced off of it. So this shot is shear magic.

I'm going to have to don my wading gear and put it back onto its staff to see what kind of magic the Sun makes happen in a snow covered lawn!

That wade may take a few days, the lawn and house are engulfed in snow, and until we are minus a couple of inches, I'll be inside...where it's warm & cozy.
...but I'm going to try very hard to get THAT shadow shot...stay tuned :)

I can see why you'd want to protect it from the snow. Gorgeous sun and love the shadows.

BLOGitse,
there seems to be something calming about the Sun...in any form. I'd {luv} to see pics of your collection.

Gallery Juana,
good question. I would guess that the moisture would, over time, give it a rich patina....hummm

Thank you ladies for stopping by and leaving blog {luv}.

Have an amazing week!
