...ME!
My new BBF who resides over at Havenwood has awarded me with, not one, but two! blog awards. Now, I've seen these two awards around on my many 'blog strolls' and have stopped in to visit and even follow the recipients of these gracious awards- Havenwood being one of them. I am humbled and grateful for being chosen as an awardee.

The first award is the Sister Hood Award, created by Diane Rambles that recognizes blogs with an attitude of gratitude. Yep! That would be me!

and this second award is an award for bloggers who reach out to other bloggers in friendship and support. This has definitely been one of my blogging missions.
Like so many of these awards, it comes with a few rules...like the nomination of ten people, a link to the nominating blog spot , along with links to the nominated blog spots. Last, but not least, one must visit the new nominees, to inform them that they have been nominated. Whew! I think that these awards are a great way to discover & befriend new blogs and I have always been excited about visiting the sites of other awardees. My problem is that, there are far more than ten blogs that I find S{imply} T{remendous} U{nderstately} F{abulous} F{inds}. It's A {Blog-Aversary} ::

Here I am 'blog strolling' again, only this time through my e-mail. Following up on a comment that I posted on Bliss, I strolled onto Cicada Daydream. What an amazingly {pretty} and engaging spot! Intriqued by the name ::{side story:: approximately 3-4 years ago, I had my first experience with this mysterious {locust?} called a cicada. Not being native to the area that I now, lovingly, refer to as 'home' and not being much into the insect world, I was completely in awe of the arrival of these red-eyed, lightweight, wide-winged creatures that miraculously appear after a seventeen year ?hibernation/?incubation}.
The first thing that peaked my curiosity about Cicada Daydream was "Why that handle"? I stopped pass to find that, like the evenly euphonic rhythm of the tunes that awakened me, Cicada Daydreams is 'fan-tabulous'{my word:D}! Well, I kept 'strolling' and arrived onto another amazingly, equally 'fan-tabulous' engaging site - High Desert Diva whose blogaversary happens to be today. What kept me there? Well to start, the sassy, take-no-prisoners, gun slinging cowgirl adorning the western-styled vintage header. Secondly, the friendly and engaging posts that invite you to settle in for the long haul. And lastly, but certainly not least, you can't go wrong with Etsy! So to you, High Desert Diva--HAPPY BLOG-AVERSARY!!!

You'll {Heart} them...Guaranteed

I just got some great news !!! I have trying -for one hundred gadzillion months ;)- to get a very dear co-worker of my to start a blog. You see, whenever I come to work, she has some fun and humorous 'Mommy Story' to tell me. The subject is usually one of the many characters of her very close knit family. It's either her "Just because I'm grown-who said I need to act it" newly wedded husband, Scott, or her drop dead gorgeous-"you're going to need to beat them off with a stick"- daughter, or any number of her equally as funny relatives. One of the great things about these daily anecdotals is that they are accompanied by pictures {aka - evidence} of the endless romping and frolicking! Although she has a blog on My Space , I've been telling her that it can't possibly as rewarding as this. Well, finally her blog is up and running and I am eager for everyone to tune and share the laughs, antics and great stories that are the story of her life! And just so that I don't miss a post, she is listed on the S.T.U.F.F. that Inspires me...
