1. Up and at 'em.

2. It's difficult not to get caught up in the rumors going around.

3. Coats and scarves, mittens and boots: with the weather that we've been having, these are essential wardrobe 'must-haves'.

4. I can not refuse a nice back rub.

5. I'm thinking about how quickly this week has flown by.

6. After work, I'll be so ready for a flavorful catered dinner.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to missing the afternoon rush hour, tomorrow my plans include taking in a movie with friends and Sunday, I want to catch up on the TV shows that I recorded last week!

2. There's no mistaking that those children are well fed.

3. Go ahead and make the reservations for the New Years Eve soiree.

4. All of my last minute holiday shopping will be sent via overnight shipping .

5. I keep forgetting we're not in love anymore....{feeling a little like Mike McDonald}.

6. I'm going wait this traffic jam out, whether I like it or not.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to hanging out with my 'Sistah Friends', tomorrow my plans include a fun-filled morning with the Grands followed by a long, lazy unproductive evening and Sunday, I want to finish this dang book that is taking me far too long to read {no fault of the book}!

1. I wish every day was Friday AND I was off the weekend.

2. I can't wait to get out of this 'parking lot' traffic jam...that's what I'm thinking.

4. Being able to navigate through the 5 o'clock Friday traffic mayhem, unscathed is so amazing.

5. One of my fondest hopes is that, early one morning when I hit the 'snooze' button, I realize that it is the
     weekend and I don't really have to get out of bed.

6. My fellow carpoolers and I just wanted to say thank you for me following my 'first mind' and filling the gas
    the gas tank last evening.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to winding down from a long productive week, tomorrow my plans include hot chocolate, snugglie blanket, a Sandra Brown novel and a warm fireplace and Sunday, I want to wish that it was Friday {after rush hour}!

1. Three things I must have on my Thanksgiving table: cranberry sauce, corningbread stuffing, candied yams.

2. All of the overeaters are  sacked out on the couch.

3. This is a great way to kick-off the holiday season.

4. Now it's time to decorate for the Christmas holiday {Woo hoo!!!}.

5. Oh, man, thankfully it's been a great day celebrated with family, friends and great food!

6. Thanksgiving is a great time to  perfect the art of  engaging in 'socially acceptable' gluttony.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to cutting a rug with my Mother and 'The Gal Pals' {at their annual Senior Dance}, tomorrow my plans include polishing off Thanksgiving Day left-overs and Sunday, I want to take a long walk in the crisp fall air!

1. While the cat's away the litter box stays fresh.

2. Two tickets to a Broadway Show? fabuloso!

4. That's going to have to wait until I get home from work or shopping or what have you.

5. This may seem odd, but I am thinking {seriously} of cutting off all of my hair.
6. We're going to limit Christmans gifts to the immediate family? That seems like a fine idea to me!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to finding a great old fashion donut shoppe, tomorrow my plans include taking tons of pics from the local Halloween Parades and Sunday, I want to give away all of this d*mned candy before I eat it all !

1. Wow, it's been a great week on the 'blog stroll'.


2. My Granddaughter's {legal} name is Beautiful.

3. My favorite way to start a day is stretching like a cat.

4. I left out to get coffee and walked in the door holding a pumpkin.

5. I look out my window and see a community of dog lovers.
6. Starting another blog is what I've been thinking about lately.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to catch up on old movies, tomorrow my plans include a visit to the 'Home Improvement Show' at the fairgrounds and Sunday, I want to check off a few things on my 'to-do' list!

I look forward to Fridays for many reasons.  One is, of course, it's the start of the weekend!  Secondly, when I remember - and I try very hard to remember - I take the opportunity to fill-in my thoughts.  I hope that you enjoyed sharing the space in my head...in seven sentences {my answers are in pink}.

5. I have yet to hear a man ask for advice on how to combine a dynamic sporting event and exciting romantic interlude.

1. My retreat is my home.

2. My favorite thing for dinner lately has been chicken caesar salad made with spring mix...a Panera's Bread specialty.

3. It seems that all that dog does is bark! bark! bark!

4. A nice long walk with a friend is like a glass of finely aged wine...priceless.

5. I don't mind the bad news, as long as it is preceded by some good news.

1. Why do we have to work for a living?

3. I have had enough of being politically correct.
