Hello Dolls,

Can you believe that this is the first weekend of twenty-eleven?! 

The weather dudes are predicting snow...50/50 {snow vs no snow}.  I think that I can make that prediction.  It's all too safe.  I know that we won't be able to continue to 'miss' the inevitable 24 inches of snow that is definitely awaiting this area, but.... I still hold my breath with every forecast that 'this time it will pass us by' *fingers double-crossed*

My friends tell me that if I get involved in some winter sport/activity, I would not dread these 'seasonably' frigid days...that fodder for another post....

What do you do to tolerate the season that brings you the most dread?

1. All children alarm their parents, if only because you are forever expecting unconditional understanding.

2. Show me a good loser and I will show you a great player.

3. A moment of daydreaming is like eating an entire box of chocolate liqueurs at one time.

4. Too bad that all the people who know how to run the country are busy being pre-judged and attempting to clean up the last administrations BULLSH***T.

5. I have yet to hear a man ask for advice on how to combine a dynamic sporting event and exciting romantic interlude.

6. It is impossible to think of any good meal, no matter how plain or elegant, without a really good wine or a handful of really great friends in it.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to finishing up early tonight, tomorrow my plans include getting up early in the AM and Sunday, I want to turn in early!
