Thirteen {this Thursday} foods that I'd rather be eating instead of the salad that I am eating now::

#1  Luv & Chocolate...oh yes.  and bananas...

 #2  Always good...even when the temperature outside is 50 degrees

#3  Luv & Syrup

#4  Who needs bread when you can sandwhich between bacon & cheese?....not I! 

#5  Can't get enough of those fluffy flapjacks!

#6  Ahhhhh....the appetizers of the Gods...

#7  Noodles & Shrimp.... definitely not 'chicken of the sea'

#8  Choco-gasm...need I say more?

#9  ...great. Even without the pretzels

#10  mmmmmm.  My mouth waters over this dish.

#11  Curly Fries and melted cheese.  Reminds of the college days

#12  Okay. Okay.  This revivals the salad.  Nothing wrong with variety.

#13  Fresh fruit on Ice....that counts for my fruit points...

WEEK 22::

found this wonderful list of 10 things that you should do everyday. Don't know who the author is, but it seems that he jotted this simple but wholesome 'to-do' list during the course of reading an interview. I'm also not sure if he actually mailed to 'Keri Smith', but I am glad that he decided to cyber-share this wonderful list.

...Oh yeah...I added three more of my own. I just hope that they are as poignant and worthy as his...

Be A Kid Again... Part {Deux}

~~ Blow the wrapper off a straw.
~~ Have someone read you a story.
~~ Find some pretty stones and save them.
~~ Wear your favorite shirt with you favorite pants even if they don’t match.
~~ Take a running jump over a big puddle.
~~ Get someone to buy you something you really don’t need.
~~ Hide your vegetables under your napkin.
~~ Stay up past your bedtime.
~~ Eat dessert first.
~~ Fuss a little, then take a nap.
~~ Wear red gym shoes.
~~ Put way too much sugar on your cereal.

~~ Sing into your hairbrush.

~~ Play a song you like really loud, over and over.
~~ Dot all your “i”’s with smiley faces.
~~ Read the funnies. Throw the rest of the paper away.
~~ Dunk your cookies.
~~ Play a game where you make up the rules as you go along.
~~ Step carefully over sidewalk cracks. ~~ Change into some play clothes.
~~ Try to get someone to trade you a better sandwich.

# 1 ~~~FONTS and TYPOGRAPHY :: in this day and age of electronic 'touching', I think goodness for the graphic artists who will not let the beautiful art of letter designing fade.

# 2 ~~~APRIL SHOWERS...couldn't wait for the cold stillness of winter to rare its last blustery head because I know that it is the perfect preparation for Spring's wet, refreshing & revitalizing rebirth!

#3~~~CUPCAKES:: i {heart} the magic of these little mini cakes. Just like their sheetcake sized cousins, they bring a smile to one's face...always!

#4~~~Long leisurely phone conversations with my friends...'nough said :-)

#5~~~Reruns of Sex & The City...can't get enough of the 'girlfriend' vibe, and of course, the shoes

#6~~~New episodes of the Deadliest Catch...this work is definitely for men {and I am not a chauvenist!}

#7~~~awakening to a beautiful sunrise #8~~~Old Alfred Hitchcock movies enjoyed with a bag of microwaved popcorn, curled up in my favorite comfortable 'slipper' chair. {blankets included}

#9~~~The timeless and iconic style of Audrey Hepburn...now that's a lady!

#10~~~Fun & informative networking events. For me, this 'must do' business activity is no longer looked at as pretentious and laborious, but, as an opportunity to meet with the people that I have made special and lasting relationships.

#11~~~the anticipation of a soft-ice cream cone. This is truly what hot summer afternoons are made for. {napkin optional} #12~~~Webinars:: what a great way to experience long-distance learning! Jump out of bed, grab a cup of pre-brewed 'jo' while slipping into my favorite bunny slippers and warm/fuzzy robe. "Who'd da thunk it?!" {I'm in luv}
