Themed Thursday.... Round Deux

WHEELS

Just couldn't get enough...so here' more of my 'Wheels'.

Bought these babies off of E-bay for a fracture of the cost!

Six inches of  pure *Bliss...I still swoon everytime that I  take them from the box....

Besides, Pink is the new Black {who knew}

not sure how these fit into the theme

Theme Thursday

WHEELS::

I am soooo  'ing this week's Thursday ThemeIt takes me way back to a time when my parents paid for all of my worldly indulges  when the living was easier.  And for me, I lived then, as I still do know, constantly swooning over unique and be-yoooo-tiful footwear.  The more avante garde, the more swoon-worthy!

And this fits into this theme of 'Wheels' becuzzzz....?

So. Here's the fit.

In my neck of the woods {and I am sure, in many other necks} shoes were cherished for there functionality. But ultimately for their 'wow' factor.  Beauty, well yeah.  Looking at these 'wheels', we can see that.  {functionality...hmmmm}

 A well-treaded set of wheels on a beautifully tricked out automobile always garnered the attention of the neighborhood 'in' crowd.  They are the 'blink' that is meant to catch your eyes...coming and going.  Your wheels should always be clean, crisp and the 'belle of the ball'.  The automobile is your show piece, but the wheels are the crowning jewel.

So you see, the outfit is really the bridemaid to the real shop stopping bride that is going on below the ankle...
Your wheels!

I can not remember where I found this mouth dropping pic {if you do, please email me with the info so that I can give due credit}, but, I would bet my eyes tooth that they are the lusciousness that belongs only to Lady Gaga.  Thoughts?

the stylist to these amazing gems is a very chic designer whose style is nothing short of fierce!

...and what would a shoe closet be without a pair of kicka** red pumps?!
I say...empty {very}

1. Wow, it's been a great week on the 'blog stroll'.

2. My Granddaughter's {legal} name is Beautiful.

3. My favorite way to start a day is stretching like a cat.

4. I left out to get coffee and walked in the door holding a pumpkin.

5. I look out my window and see a community of dog lovers.
6. Starting another blog is what I've been thinking about lately.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to catch up on old movies, tomorrow my plans include a visit to the 'Home Improvement Show' at the fairgrounds and Sunday, I want to check off a few things on my 'to-do' list!

I look forward to Fridays for many reasons.  One is, of course, it's the start of the weekend!  Secondly, when I remember - and I try very hard to remember - I take the opportunity to fill-in my thoughts.  I hope that you enjoyed sharing the space in my head...in seven sentences {my answers are in pink}.

Try your hand at it.  It's much more introspective than I initially thought.  And, {drum roll, please} you get to share your fill-in link with others.

...sharing the space in the heads of other fill-in players is beyong cool!

Knot...

In Luv with this amazing drinking vessel...or maybe a vase...

How would use this vessel in your space?

Dead *Ringers

this bit of lusciousness literally leaves a lasting impression.  The magic happens with the inner engraving so cleverly hidden...until the ring comes off

*Whimsical*  That's my take on this unforgettably playful 'jewel'.  All fun and play, this 'erasering' makes any mistake welcome!...
No commitment needed

Not to worry, the children have not been forgotten.  These cute little ditties are wearable art instruments for the artist in your child.  Beautiful on the pinky, for certain.

The secret is in the function.  These beauties are crayons! Yes, crayons!  Collect one or all {for the daring in you} of the amazing colors {they are kid friendly and safe}.

Just add paper*

{get them here::special thanx}

Put My Hands Where My Eyes Can See....

Weekends are definitely made for blogstrolling!  I found these luv-lies while on my travels.
The design is simple but engaging.

The 'boy eyes' have that hooded 'come hither your sexy damsel' look.  Cute!

While the 'girl eyes' have that 'what ever do you want with li'l ol' me' {said with the most prim & proper southern draw}

  The artist behind this amazingly amusing finger jewelry is Stephen Shein {aka Neivz}.  His pieces are for sale via internet at prices that fit into everyone's economically stimulating budget!

* Vanity *.....before Sanity

{via here::special thanx}

This utility boot is what I'm feeling now.  But, can you believe that these are Burberry?   Where is the plaid that I have grown so accustomed to seeing on the runway?

I know that I'll have to where these waaayyy before the snow falls.  And I can't fathom them being able to keep my feet warm below fifty degrees.  But I'm still glowing over the thought of strutting into the my first holiday soiree sporting these darlings....

And the bag?.... well, everyone gal needs a hobo {at least one}

Theme Thursday....

... Game

Today's Thursday Theme is 'Game'.

Boy that really conjures up a lot of fun times.  Remember hide-and-seek, hopscotch, four corners, jump rope?  And those are just a few 'outside' games.  Do you remember those days when we were told, "go outside and play..."  Those words were magical.  You couldn't get out of the house fast enough..."don't let that screen door slam"!  In lightning speed you would round up your 'peeps' for a four hour game of stickball.

Stop for lunch?  Oh no! Stopping for lunch was unheard of.  Not in the middle of a kickball game!..."Mom! it's my turn to kick"!

...and those were only some of the games that we played outside....

Fill 'Er Up!

{buy them::special thanx}

I dream of the day that I can 'style & profile' in some hip, tricked-out sports car {ahhhhhh}.  But until then, my dream car is any one of the above groovy 'mobiles'.  Although they may not offer me the luxury of today's computer-driven, mileage challenged high-tech autos, they offer me something more comforting....

....memories of a time when life was waaaayyyy waaaayyy simplier.

What do you drive?

Where Beds Go To Grow Up

{via here::special thanx}

Can I tell you that I can't get enough of this design!  The floral sculpted headboard is too pretty for words.  The colour is warm and inviting - can you say, 'I think I'll work from home today'?  The clean pattern draws your eye without being distracting or monopolizing.  I'll rest my head here anytime...

How awesome is the typography on those pillowcases?  I'm sorry, but they would be strictly for show {read - no heads allowed}.  The use of crisp white linen lends itself to a clean unfussy aethestic.  And the use of the soft blue hue against the yellow, pure feminine!  This is amazing!

I have just the accessory for this display of prettiness.

This definitely has a place, alongside my other inspirations, in my digital home improvement portfolio.

Venti Latte

{via here::special thanx}

Forever on the hunt for unique ideas that pack the 'Wow' factor, needless to say, I was a bit giddy about this 'deliciously' interesting treat.  The folks at Coffee Stencil has made it easy to tap into your inner barrister.

You can choose from the many stencils that they offer or you can create your own personalized stencil.  Either way, imagine the delightful surprise of your guests when you present them with their very own cup o' joe - bearing your customized logo.

Nearby coffee shoppes will spill their beans with envy!
